The Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) has categorically denied the news published by a newspaper named, Anidda, and some social media outfits that the operations of the first and second phases of the Jaya Container Terminal have been halted due to an employee of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) suffering from Covid 19 symptoms.

Sri Lanka Ports Authority, therefore, urges responsible parties to refrain from publishing false news based on various rumours at such a crucial time.
