CPAC meets to review current state of Covid-19

The Covid-19 Preventive Action Committee (CPAC) held a review meeting on its operations at the Port of Colombo this morning, April 21, 2021. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, General Daya Ratnayake. The current status of Covid-19 disease at local and regional levels as well as the importance of following the recommended health guidelines were highlighted.

The review meeting was attended by representatives from the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, South Asia Gateway Terminal, Colombo International Container Terminal, Sri Lanka Customs, Sri Lanka Police, Colombo Dockyard, Ministry of Health, and many other stakeholders of the Colombo Port.  

The CPAC was established to control Covid-19 from the ports and supply chain in Sri Lanka.
