The Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) has successfully controlled the Covid-19 Pandemic, Dr S. M. Arnold, Consultant Community Physician, said in a special message. He is the Director of the Quarantine Unit and the IHR- Co National Focal Point of the Ministry of Health.
He said that since the first wave of the pandemic, the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and all parties involved in the operations of the Port of Colombo have acted with the utmost precision and it is important to continue the recommended health practices that can prevent the spread of the virus caused the disease.
