In his New Year message to all stakeholders, Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority General Daya Ratnayake has sent greetings all our stakeholders and their family members.

“The year 2020 was a challenging year for the maritime industry in general.  We faced several novel challenges due to the prevailing status of the pandemic,” Gen. Ratnayake has noted. However, he asserted that “we were able to overcome the obstacles through sincere commitments timely contingencies and unity of everyone involved in our industry.”

Dear Valued Stakeholder,

On the Occasion of the New Year 2021, on behalf of the Board of Directors and Sri Lanka Ports Authority, I would like to send best wishes and warm greetings to you and your families.

The year 2020 was a challenging year for the maritime industry in general.  We faced several novel challenges due to the prevailing status of the pandemic.  However, we were able to overcome the obstacles through sincere commitments timely contingencies and unity of everyone involved in our industry.  I would like to express my heart-felt gratitude for keeping your trust on us and cooperating throughout the tough period we passed.

Along with great effort amidst the difficulties your heartiest support trust and cooperation are the indispensable factors helped us achieve success and affirm our strong position in this competitive environment.

Emphasizing on the mission of “Delivery of world class services in a sustainable environment”, Sri Lanka Ports Authority is committed in providing best quality services in 2021 and years to come to all our stakeholders.  We are eagerly looking forward to working with all of you in the coming year to create a win-win 2021.
