Officials of the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health randomly collected 225 samples from employees of the Sri Lanka Ports of Authority and the Colombo Port as well as the users of Colombo Port for PCR and antibody tests this week. It has confirmed that none of them had been infected with the Covid-19 virus.
Random samples for PCR and antibody tests have collected from employees and port users worked in Colombo Port including Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Colombo International Container Terminal, South Asia Gateway Terminal, Sri Lanka Customs, Sri Lanka Police, and Sri Lanka Navy.
