Delegates expressed their willingness to assist Sri Lanka in establishing a sustainable transports system to elevate the efficiently of the supply chain.
A German delegation arrived in Sri Lanka to discuss the improvements of infrastructure such as port transport and digitization in Sri Lanka’s transport sector.
They met the Hon. State Minister of Ports Development Affairs Kanaka Herath this morning where they have expressed their willingness to assist Sri Lanka in establishing a sustainable transports system to elevate the efficiently of supply chain.
Representatives of the German delegation are Felix Kasiske, Andres Hergenrother and State Minister Stephan Hesselmann. Secretary to the Ministry of Ports Development Affairs Ms K. N. K. Somaratne has also presented the meeting.
