The Sri Lanka Ports Authority and other terminal operators in Colombo port and elsewhere in the country have taken all measures introduced by the health authorities to control the Covid-19 pandemic. Our sole purpose is to ensure the reliability and efficiency of port operations while protecting all those who involved.
As one of the main steps, samples of randomly selected employees and port users were subjected to PCR constantly to prevent the spread of the Covid 19 virus. Employees and port users undergone for PCR tests should duly follow the instructions of medical division and health authority. Anyone violate the quarantine laws and evade the instructions of medical division will be dealt with legally without any hesitation. It is time for all of us to act together to eradicate the Covid-19.
