SLPA to host Gold Award ceremony for retired employees

The event is the 10th consecutive Gold award ceremony for retired SLPA employees that started parallel to the 35th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) in 2014.

The 2020 Gold Award ceremony for retired employees of Sri Lanka Ports Authority will be held on February 26, 2020, at the Temple Trees in Colombo.

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will be the Chief Guest of the event. The event will also be attended by Minister of Ports and Shipping Johnston Fernando, State Minister of Ports Development Affairs Kanaka Herath and the Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) General Daya Ratnayake.

The award is once in a lifetime token for retired employees of SLPA in appreciation of their tremendous and dedicated performance during service in Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA). 438 retired SLPA employees of more than 15, 25 and 35 years of service have been selected eligible for this year’s awards.
