Sri Lanka Ports Authority handed over a plot of land on a long lease (6 perches) to HE Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith for the expansion of St. Anthony’s Church, Kochchikade in Colombo today, 22 May 2019. Fernando Cardinal Filoni, a Special Representative of Pope Francis, also graced the occasion.
Hon. Minister of Ports, Shipping & Southern Development Sagala Ratnayaka, Hon. Minister of Housing, Construction and Cultural Affairs Sajith Premadasa, Mayoress of Colombo Rosy Senanayake and higher officials of the SLPA as well as numbers of invitees joined the event.
