Port of Colombo

A full-scale IT infrastructure drive is currently underway to transform the Port of Colombo — Sri Lanka’s busiest port — into a ‘Smart Port’, Honourable Minister of Ports, Shipping and Southern Development Sagala Ratnayaka announced today (25).

MV Beijing Bridge under its AGI Service made the maiden call at the Port of Colombo’s Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) controlled Jaya Container Terminal (JCT) on 13th February 2019.

Honourable Minister Ports, Shipping and Southern Development Sagala Ratnayaka today ( 11 February 2019) went on an inspection tour at the Port of Colombo.
