General Daya Ratnayake, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA), has recently appointed two experienced officers to fill the vacant posts of Additional Managing Directors. Accordingly, Mr Upul Jayatissa has been appointed as the acting Additional Managing Director (Administration / Operations) and Mr Susantha Abeysiriwardena has been appointed as the Acting Additional Managing Director (Technical).
Meanwhile, five senior officers of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority have also received their promotions yesterday as Acting Directors. Accordingly, Mr D. Pathiraja as the acting director – Technical, Mr Prabath Jayantha as the Acting Director – Logistics, Mr Lal Weerasinghe as the Acting Director – Port Operations, Mr Nalin Aponso as the Acting Director Human Resources Development, Mr S Devapriya as the Acting Director – Development, were received their promotions respectively.
