The Sri Lanka Port Authority, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited and the Civil Aviation Authority jointly presented the cheque for Rs. 02 billion to the government’s consolidated fund which was officially handed over to President Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (19) afternoon.
Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Port Authority has contributed Rs. 01 billion, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited Rs. 500 million and Civil Aviation Authority Rs. 500 million to the fund.
Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva, Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Mr Mahinda Siriwardena, Secretary to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Mr K.D.S. Ruwanchandra, Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority Mr Keith D. Bernard, Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited Major General G.A. Chandrasiri (Rtd), Civil Aviation Authority Director General Mr P.A. Jayakantha and several others participated on the occasion.
